A church that is strong must understand what it believes, our doctrinal beliefs are based in the Word of God. We accept the Bible’s self witness that “All scriptures is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrines, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness; that the man of God maybe perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (2 Timothy 3:16,17)

1. We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the verbally inspired Word of God, is inherent in the original writings, and should be upheld as the supreme and final authority in Faith in Life. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three person Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

2. We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is truly God-man. We believe in his crucifixion for our sins. His burial bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and present life there as high priest and advocate for us.

3. We believe the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, possessing all the attributes of God and qualities of person hood: By him believers are called, regenerated, baptized into Christ, Indwelt, sealed, filled for service, and continually sanctified.

4. We believe in the direct creation of the universe and man by God, according to Genesis account of creation, apart from any process of evolution.

5. We believe that man was created in the images of God, according to the Genesis account of creation, apart from any process of evolution.

6. We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death.

7. We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace through the mediatorial work of the Lord Jesus Christ, that he died for our sins according to the scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice. All who believe in him are justified by His shed blood and are in possession of an eternally secure salvation.

8. We believe the new birth is a new creation in Christ Jesus.

9. We believe for that the Local Church is an independent and self governing of baptized believer’s associated by covenant and in faith and fellowship with other churches of like faith and order.

10. We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water to show forth, as a solemn and beautiful emblem, our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Saviour.

11. We believe the Lord Supper is a commemoration of His death until He comes.

12. We believe in “that blessed hope, which is the catching up of all believers, living and dead, at Christ’s, imminent return.

13. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, both of the unjust and the just.

14. We believe in the eternal security of the believer, the personality of satan, and apostolic sign gifts of the Holy Spirit, such as speaking in tongue and the gift of healing, were temporary.
